We want the Site to be accurate and to respect the rights of others. This policy explains how we source images and how to request removal or correction of any content.
How we use images
Equipment photographs on the Site are, wherever possible, sourced from openly-licensed collections (such as Wikimedia Commons and Openverse) under licenses that permit reuse, and each is displayed with a credit line naming the author and license. Some visuals are our own illustrations or diagrams. Brand names and model names are used for identification and commentary only.
Requesting removal or correction
If you are a rights holder (or their agent) and believe an image, price, brand reference, or other content should be removed, corrected, or re-attributed, email legal@rentd.com with:
- The exact URL(s) and a description of the specific content at issue.
- The basis for your request (e.g. you own the copyright, the attribution is wrong, the data is inaccurate).
- Your name, organisation, and contact details, and — for copyright claims — a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised and that the information in your notice is accurate.
We act on valid requests promptly — typically within a few business days — by removing, correcting, or re-attributing the content. You can also use the form below.
Counter-notice
If content you posted or that concerns you was removed and you believe that was a mistake, contact us at the same address and we will review.
