rentd provides a platform connecting equipment renters with franchise locations offering heavy construction equipment for rent or purchase. We facilitate transactions but individual rental agreements are between users and franchise locations.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Equipment Rental Terms

When renting equipment through our platform:

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts
• You must have appropriate licenses and certifications for equipment operation
• You are responsible for the safe operation of rented equipment
• Equipment must be returned in the same condition, normal wear excepted
• You are liable for damage, loss, or theft during the rental period
• Late returns may incur additional charges

5. Payments and Fees

All fees are displayed before confirmation. You agree to pay all applicable rental fees, deposits, and any additional charges incurred. Payments are processed securely through our platform. Refund policies vary by franchise location.

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policies are set by individual franchise locations. Generally:

• Cancellations 48+ hours before rental: Full refund minus processing fees
• Cancellations 24-48 hours before: 50% refund
• Cancellations less than 24 hours: No refund

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit harmful code or interfere with our systems
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Use equipment for illegal purposes
• Sub-rent equipment without authorization

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, rentd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless rentd, its affiliates, and franchise partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on our platform are owned by rentd or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
